Looking to find out the best gods in Divine Knockout? This DKO tier list is an attempt to provide an accurate ranking of all the fighters in the game.
This list is intended to be used as a starting point, and players should use it to help them determine their playstyle and favorite gods to enable them win more games.
Divine Knockout has just been released and players are absolutely loving this new fighting game from Hi-Rez Studios, the makers of popular MOBA game SMITE.
But it’s not just any fighting game, nope. In true Hi-Rez Studios fashion, the company decided to take things a little further and develop a 3rd fighting game, in a world filled to the brim with 2D games of the same nature. So they have applied the same twist that they have used on their hit MOBA game, and well, so far players seems to be thrilled with the title.
Still, as a fighting game similar to Rivals of Aether, Brawl Stars and Brawhalla, the game has their own set of characters, that are manly based on SMITE gods, so you will be familiar with some of the names in our DKO tier list below.
Keep in mind that the game is still very fresh, so day 0 tier lists such as these ones should be taken with a grain of salt. Okay, now that’s out of the way, let’s go ahead and check out our Divine Knockout tier list, before you lose patience:
Changelog (January 4th, 2023): We have updated our DKO Tier List.
DKO Gods – Tier S
These are the game’s strongest characters, capable of easily defeating other top-tier fighters. They also have the highest skill ceiling, so learning how to play them effectively isn’t always the easiest. Still, they are easily the most overpowered gods in Divine Knockout.
DKO Gods – Tier A
These DKO characters have some weaknesses, but they’re nevertheless strong and usable in any kind of competitive play wether it’s 1v1, 2v2 or even 3v3, they are sure to do good, if you know how to play and use them of course.

DKO Gods – Tier B
These characters are powerful and versatile, but their greatest strengths may not be the easiest to use effectively. They have many other strong moves, however, so if used correctly they can defeat almost any opponent
- King Arthur
DKO Gods – Tier C
In our opinion, we believe that the following Divine Knockout gods are not that great in this meta, especially since the game is still brand new. Maybe later they will get buffed and they will shine over the rest, until then, we have put them in the lowest tier (sorry):
A couple of notes here about Sol and Thor:
Look, I know that Sol can sometimes feel incredible and you can have awesome games with her, but the reality is that she’s easy to block and she’s not that great in higher-ranked matches against stronger gods that can easily shut her down. Sure, she is fun and we love playing with her, but we feel that she’s not that viable, especially in 3v3s. The same can be said for Thor as well.
But if you like playing with Sol (or Thor), and you like their playstyle and you do good in matches, then by all means go ahead and play with them and have fun and win games, as that’s what matters the most. If you feel comfortable with a character and you know their combos and how to strike to kill, then you can win games with any god in DKO.

DKO Tier List: Final Thoughts
Our Divine Knockout tier list ranks each character according to their strength and performance in competitive play. It’s important to note that this is not an exhaustive or authoritative analysis, it’s just meant as a guide for beginners.
The tier list does not reflect the skill of individual players, but only how well certain characters are thought to perform at a high level of play.
No character is inherently better than any other. The one who plays their DKO fighter the best will usually win, regardless of what kind of god they choose to play.
Although most characters are balanced, there is a small subset of fighters who tend to be more effective than others and thus can claim an advantage over the rest. Because of that, they sit on top of our DKO rankings in the S tier.
This DKO tier list will be updated as new characters are released and strategies become more or less effective.

DKO – Frequently Asked Questions
A tier list is a ranking of characters in order of their usefulness, who are generally regarded as the strongest and most useful characters in a fighting game. Typically, a character’s position on this list reflects his or her overall strength compared to the rest of the cast at the current time. In our case here, the DKO gods ranked in the S tier are the best in the game.
Do you need a Divine Knockout tier list to win fights? Probably not, you can have fun and win games with pretty much any hero in the game as long as you know what you’re doing and like its playstyle.
However, a tier list for DKO can show you which are the most powerful characters that pro and top players are using to dominate the leaderboards, so if you want to catch up to them it’s probably wise to use similar gods.
We created this Divine Knockout tier list by analyzing all the characters and considering their damage output, mobility, utility, and special attacks.
We have also checked the official DKO leaderboard to see which gods are dominating the top positions in this current meta.
This is a tough question to answer because there are numerous factors involved when deciding what makes a fighter good (or the best in this case). Even if we were not talking about the difference in abilities, movesets, and utility, playstyle and the personal skill of a player is probably the most important. Because of that it’s quite hard to choose just one single DKO fighter that’s the best (for everyone).
Still, if we had to choose as it stands right now with the game being so fresh and new, we’ll have to say that Amaterasu is one of the best (if not the best) character in Divine Knockout.
Psst… If you liked this DKO tier list, you should probably bookmark it!
