  • A Tier – Good TFT champions for your average game, not great but also not terrible.
  • B Tier – These champions should be used situationally, but still they are usable.
  • C Tier – Ehh…if possible avoid playing with these champions.
  • D Tier – There’s no reason to use these in the current game meta.

Ranking criteria for this Teamfight Tactics Tier List

Ok so since we wanted to make this a well-informed tier list for all our Teamfight tactics readers, we believed that the best way to compile this TFT Tier list was to research EVERYTHING!

And with that in mind, we analyzed what the PROs are playing with, what the community feels about certain champions in places like Reddit, Discord, and Facebook, and also we tested these champions in-game ourselves.

This Teamfight Tactics tier list is mostly created with mid to late-game stages of the game in mind, but it can also work for early stages as well.

We also focused on these important things while creating this TFT Tier List:

  • Cost
  • Stats Value
  • DPS
  • Tanking capability

We strived to make this Teamfight Tactics tier list as complete and accurate as possible. But since there are many TFT tier lists out there, keep in mind that no list is 100% the same for every player’s experience.

Some players might simply perform better with certain champions, no matter their tier rankings.

Also:

Metas always change, with every new patch that comes out, certain heroes might perform better or worse.

Best Teamfight Tactics Champions:

We think these are the best TFT Champions in the current meta (in no particular order):

  • Gangplank
  • Irelia
  • Jinx
  • Xayah
  • Kayle
  • Miss Fortune

Of course, the A & B tier champions are also good to use, but we don’t really recommend you to use the C & D ones, especially not for late-game.

What is Teamfight Tactics?

Teamfight Tactics is an auto-battle chess type of game developed by Riot Games (the makers of League of Legends).

Being developed and published by Riot Games, the game takes place of course in the League of Legends universe.

You will be able to use some of your favorite LoL champions and battle against other players, where the only goal in everyone’s mind is to be the last one standing.

To be victorious you will have to use your skills and wisdom to create the best possible squad of champions to fight for you against other players.

Riot Games made sure to make give this game cross-platform support so that you can play it on the go wherever you are using whatever device you have around. And so it works on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS.

This is why we have created this Teamfight tactics tier list, because many users, especially the ones new to the game, will not immediately know what champions are good to play with and which ones suck.
