Are you searching the interwebs (that’s what cool kids call it right?) for a Rivals of Aether tier list? Great, you have come to the right place, because below we’ve put together our very own rankings for the best fighters in Rivals of Aether.
Rivals of Aether is a fighting game that was developed by Dan Fornace, inspired by games like Super Smash Bros and Brawlhalla.
The fighting game is set in a world where warring civilizations summon the power of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth.
You can choose any of the 18 Rivals to bring into the battlefields of this stunning world. Each Rival has its own set of attacks and abilities that can be used to gain an advantage over your opponent.
The game is very simple to pick up, but hard to master.
There are only two buttons for special moves (special and strong attack) but there are a ton of different combinations you can perform with them, including pairing them with jumps and walljumps, airdodge, dash, and more!
You can also customize your character with different fighting styles and costumes.
Before we get into the Rivals of Aether tier list for season 7, let’s take a look at what each tier rank means:

Rivals of Aether Tier List Ranking Meaning
The first thing to keep in mind when playing a fighting game such as Rivals of Aether is that every character can be OP or trash in its own way.
They all have weaknesses but also great abilities, so… you can pretty much choose whatever fighter you like the most to play with.
But for the sake of it, we have decided to create a Rivals of Aether tier list that we think is somewhat accurate for the current meta. Here are the ranks and what they mean:
- S Tier Rivals of Aether Fighters — These characters are very good and have little to no weaknesses that can be exploited by other fighters. They have great matchups and can go toe-to-toe with any Rival out there.
- A Tier Rivals of Aether Fighters — These are well-balanced Rivals that can also do great pretty much against all other fighters, still they have a few flaws, and because of that they didn’t reach the top position on our list.
- B Tier Rivals of Aether Fighters — These are average fighters who are not bad at all but also don’t excel in any area either due to having many noticeable weaknesses or being too slow or something else like that; they’re just average overall.
- C Tier Rivals of Aether Fighters — We think that these are below-average Rivals that don’t shine as much as the other ones from above. We’d call them weak, but in reality, you can still use these to play and enjoy the game.
Now that we have finished with the explanations, it’s time to take a look at the Rivals of Aether tier list and see which are the best characters in this meta:

How We Created this Rivals of Aether Tier List?
Whenever we create tier lists for popular games, we start by first playing the games ourselves and experiencing what it has to offer to make a first impression about all the characters available.
And so that’s exactly what we’ve done when it came time to figure out the best Rivals of Aether characters.
But we didn’t want to create a biased tier list and so we have also explored the Rivals of Aether online communities and gathered some more info from top players from places such as Reddit and Discord.
All in all, we think that this is a pretty accurate Rivals of Aether tier list for the current meta. But as always, no tier list can ever be 100% accurate or viable for all players out there because each of us has our own unique play styles and preferences.
Still, if you want you can leave a comment down below with your feedback about this list.
