Brawlhalla Tier List Ranking Meaning

  • S Tier – These are the absolute best Brawlhalla Legends at the moment in this current meta.
  • A Tier – Very good Brawlhalla legends that can do well in all game modes as well (1vs1, 2vs2, etc).
  • B Tier – These Brawlhalla heroes are also good and viable to play with although we see them less used in-game lately. Especially since the meta has changed and a new season has just arrived.
  • C Tier – You shouldn’t really play with any of these unless you really know what you’re doing. These Brawlhalla Legends are only good to play with if you’re absolutely a pro with their combos and movement.
  • D Tier – Kinda trash… avoid playing with these heroes unless you like them and wanna have fun.

How We Created This Brawlhalla Tier List

Creating our Brawlhalla tier list required an in-depth understanding of the game’s evolving landscape, marked by constant updates, new characters, and balance patches. To achieve this, we tapped into the rich pool of knowledge shared by Brawlhalla pros and insightful YouTube content creators, particularly Snowy, whose gameplay analysis offers valuable perspectives on character strengths and playstyles.

We combined these expert insights with real-world experiences from the Brawlhalla player community, ensuring our tier list resonates with both competitive and casual players alike.

Additionally, we utilized resources like Brawlhalla Stats, which provided us with comprehensive win-rate statistics for all the legends. This data was instrumental in helping us identify the relative advantages and disadvantages of each character.

Our goal was to craft a tier list that reflects the current meta of Brawlhalla as accurately as possible.

This approach allowed us to create a tier list that not only ranks characters but also offers insights into their gameplay nuances.

We encourage you to explore this Brawlhalla tier list, especially if you’re gearing up for Season 30 in 2023.

It’s a valuable resource for understanding the current standing of each legend, whether you’re playing as them or facing off against them.

And of course, your feedback and tips are always welcome, as they help us refine and improve our tier lists.

Please feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts and experiences.

P.S.: We didn’t include cross-over skins of Brawlhalla legends such as Patrick, Spongebob, etc, since they mirror the same abilities as their base legend.

What is Brawlhalla?

Brawlhalla is an online action free-to-play fighting game that was developed and published by Blue Mammoth Games and Ubisoft.

The cross-platform game was released globally on May 30, 2014, and it’s available for free to players on Playstation, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Xbox, Windows, and Mac OS.

There are over 20+ different game modes to choose from, including online and local multiplayer, as well as singleplayer.

Lots of legends to play with

Brawlhalla features over 55 heroes (or legends as they are officially called) that you can choose and play with.

Each one of them has unique stats, abilities, and weapon pairings that make them even more OP than they are.

Every character in Brawlhalla has two weapon types, and each weapon has a different moveset. Weapons are used similarly by all Legends that use them, but each Legend has its own set of 3 Signature Moves for each weapon.

This means that no two Legends have the same usable weapon combination.

Brawlhalla – Reviews From Players

In general, players of Brawlhalla give the game a very good rating.

For example on Google Play, Brawlhalla gets a review score of 4.3/5 and on the App Store the game gets a rating of 4.2 out of 5, and on Steam over 270,000 players are “very positive” about it.

All these good scores mean that players, in general, are very happy about Brawlhalla’s gameplay. However there are some complaints about lagging servers and sometimes the matches aren’t totally fair, with the so-called problem of “smurfs” in the game, players have a hard time trying to rank up.

Smurfs are basically experienced players that have reached the top ranks and after that, they start again from low ranks but this time with more experience they dominate over the new and beginner players of the game.
