Paladins Tier List Meaning:

SS Tier – These are straight-up the most OVERPOWERED champions in the current Paladins meta. They can dominate in every game, regardless if you’re a pro or a newb. These are pretty much your insta ban or lock.

S Tier – Even though these Paladins champions are not as OP as the SS tier ones, they are also spectacular, and they are the best at their respective roles. Same as with the above champions, you want to lock or ban these straight away.

A Tier – Pretty good Paladins champions that are still viable in the current game meta While not as great as the above tiers, they can still perform well in most games.

B Tier – These are better played situationally when you want to counter specific champions and you also know what you’re doing. While not extremely bad they are also not that great, and there are far better options that you can pick before resorting to one of these.

C Tier – Paladins champions that don’t really have a place in the current meta. Only pick some of these if your team composition requires it, otherwise, it’s better to skip them and pick something else.

D Tier – You should avoid playing with these if you don’t want to drag down your team too much, plus you might also get a bit of toxicity from other players or teammates for playing with these.

How Did We Create this Tier List?

When we publish one of our supported games tier lists, we always like to do a lot of research first. So with this Paladins tier list, we’ve done the same.

First, we started out reading the newest patch notes, after that, we have checked what the community is playing with and what are some of the most picked Paladins champions in ranked games with high win percentages.

We’ve also taken a peek at the official subreddit and discord server to get more details and see what champions are hot right now.

But, like every tier list you will find on the internet, this Paladins tier list might not be totally accurate or exactly suited for every Paladins player out there.

Some players will have a different gameplay experience than others, so a good player can totally dominate a game even with a low tier champion and vice versa, a newb might struggle even with the most OP champions out there if they don’t know the right map position, don’t play with the team and give proper call outs, etc.

Since Paladins meta will always change, some of these champions will also see drastic movements in their tiers, some might go down others might go up, depending on what’s going on with every new major game update.

What is Paladins?

Paladins is a f2p (free to play) online hero shooter game developed by Evil Mojo and published by Hi-Rez Studios.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward for an FPS game, there are two teams of five players each going against each other while trying to complete certain objectives depending on the game mode (Siege, Onslaught, Deathmatch)

Each player will be able to pick a champion of their choosing based on what role they want to have in the game. All the champions have unique abilities and decks that help further enhance a champion’s power.

And that’s where Paladins is different a bit from other hero FPS games out there, it has a deck talent system that sorta adds a MOBA element to the game. So it’s a very unique twist on the genre, which players very much like.

Speaking of players, the majority of them are satisfied with the way the game is progressing with Hi-Rez Studios releasing quite a lot of content and updates over the years.

While the game is free to play, it does have some paid elements to it, namely, it has a battle pass (that gives more XP), crystals (that you can buy with real money), which are good for buying items in the game.

Overall Paladins is a very good hero FPS game, and we’d recommend any of you to give it a try if you’re into shooters. You can download and play Paladins on Windows, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

    • You’re right, just checked some win rates and indeed Jenos should be higher. Moved it up to S 🙂 Thanks for the tip.

  1. personally, I believe skye should not be in D tier. Minimum would be B tier and I would move viktor to C tier. Also Imani is pretty OP so she should be moved up as well. The fact that she can do 1000 damage in one hit with her pyre balls every 1.2 seconds is extremely OP.

  2. I guess everyone is so hard on Skye. I’ve never lost a match with her (at high ranks). Guess the problem is lots of players keep on using Healer Skye, or trying to flank to the other side of the map, while you can just melt down any tank in the game and help the point so much.
She at least is a straight A while playing her like this.

  3. Grohk is rated that low, I’m not sure if the new totem/speed grohk with 3 totems is even considered here :S
It can provide quite consistant heals while having a lot of aggression too.
White it might not be as viable on certain map and comps, It has a lot of great uses in most of the maps and can work well with comps that are more grouped up, Even the overpowered triple tank comp
