Want to play in the new season with the best Smite Gods? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Below you will find our Smite Tier List for season 10. Enjoy!
Our SMITE tier list is a ranking of the strongest gods in the game for the current meta.
This list can be used to help you decide which god you should play if you’re having trouble deciding, or if you just want to figure out which gods are considered top-tier.
This list is updated regularly, so it’s always up-to-date with current god power levels!
The rank system used below is based on solo-ranked queue performance. This means that if you are playing with a premade team, you may want to consider using different gods due to synergy with your teammates’ picks.
This also means that you should not expect these rankings to translate into team performance and solo queue performance because there are simply too many variables involved for me to account for them all here.
Along with our main SMITE tier list, we’ve also put together lists for the best Smite gods in Conquest, Joust, and Duel, as well as the best Smite Assassin, Warrior Mage, Guardian, and Hunter Gods for Smite 10 patch (MidSeason).
SMITE Tier List Updated on: February 6th, 2022 (Changed rankings according to season 10 meta)

Smite Tier List Ranking Meaning
A tier list is a ranking of items, often in the order of their power or how useful they are. In Smite, every god has their own kit and playstyle. Our SMITE guide listed the best gods in each role (Warrior, Assassin, Mage, Support, Guardian) and their abilities so you know what to choose when picking your team composition.
Tier SS SMITE Gods (Best) – Straight up these are the most overpowered Smite Gods. They can steamroll everything, and any team is happy to have a player “maining” one of these characters. They can and should be used for competitive play.
Tier S SMITE Gods (Great) – These are also very good characters to use, they are almost always some of the top picks in every game for their respective roles. They can also be used for competitive play but require more skill or coordination than S-tier gods.
Tier A SMITE Gods (Good) – These Smite Gods fall a bit behind the A tier ones, but with some practice and familiarity with their kits, they will still be good picks, when other options are taken. They can also be used for competitive play but it will take some time to learn how to use them correctly.
Tier B SMITE Gods (Average) – If you’re a skilled Smite player, you might get some benefits in playing a few of these gods, but, only if the situation requires it, and you know what you’re doing, you can do good.
Tier C SMITE Gods (Weak) – While they’re not really unplayable, we would suggest you pick some heroes from a much higher tier if you want an easier game. Unless of course, you’re a total pro, and if that’s the case, then sure go ahead and pick these.
Tier D SMITE Gods (Poor) – We don’t recommend picking these characters, at all. They require a lot of practice and can be outclassed by other gods in the current patch.

How Did We Create this Smite Tier List?
As with all our meta tier lists, we always do a lot of research before publishing them. That’s also the case with this Smite tier list.
We’ve checked the patch notes to get some clues about what might happen in SMITE season 10 (patch 10.1), and also checked what the pros are playing with, read lots of threads on the Smite subreddit, and talked with people over the Smite Discord.
You should keep in mind that everyone’s gaming experience will vary, a skillful player might find that they have a slight advantage if they pick a lower-tier god to play with, simply because most players won’t know how to properly counter that hero since it’s not very popular.
The same can be said in reverse, if you’re just starting out, and don’t know how to play the game too well, then you should probably stick to the high tiered gods, to make your game much easier and enjoyable.
This SMITE tier list is based on our personal opinions. There are many reasons why we think certain gods are better or worse than others.
We’re only listing gods that are good in competitive play and do not have any bugs or major issues with their kits.
Overall, we think this is a pretty accurate Smite tier list unless we have missed some things. And if that’s the case, please leave a comment down below and let us know your opinion and suggestions.

Smite Best Gods Ranking Criteria
What we focused on when ranking the heroes:
- Their role
- Base stats of each god
- Skills and Ultimas
- DPS (damage per second)
- Healing Output
Overall we think that the best Smite Gods in season 10 are: Yemoja, Arachne, Agni, Bastet, Arthur, Cthulhu, Kukulkan, Odin, and Tsukuyomi.
However, it’s not enough to play with an overpowered Smite god, the team composition is also important, so make sure to pick your heroes based on your team and what’s best suited for you to win the game.

What is Smite?
SMITE is a free-to-play MOBA game (multiplayer online battle arena) that was released back in 2014 by Hi-Rez Studios.
Similar to other MOBA games, you will have to pick a hero in this case a god to play with, and the goal is to defeat your opposing team’s minions, and heroes before the time run out.
SMITE has many different gods that are based on mythology and religion around the world. There are currently over 100+ gods in SMITE with more being added regularly. Each one of these gods has unique abilities that make them different from one another. That is why we have created this SMITE Tier List to give players an insight into what are the current best gods in this meta.
The tier list will tell you which gods are currently considered top tier and which ones are considered low tier. A high-tier god is generally better than a low-tier god because they have better stats, abilities, or both!
The main difference between SMITE and other MOBAs is its third-person perspective. This gives it a very different feel from other games, as well as allowing for some unique mechanics that allow players to take advantage of their surroundings.
The game also has a large eSports following, with tournaments going on all the time across the world with prize pools of millions of dollars.
As with any MOBA game though, you will encounter some toxic players, so always be ready to mute them straight away in order to have a pleasant game. The game is much better played with friends, especially if you want to boost your rank faster.
You can play Smite on many platforms including Windows, Xbox One, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch.
Hopefully, this Smite tier list was able to help you out by giving you a few ideas on what Smite god to play for a good season start.
At the moment, Smite is in season 10 which began on January 24th, 2023 and we are currently in the mid-season period (season patch 10.1).
During a Smite season, there are two phases: the first one lasts for 13 weeks and ends in an invite-only tournament called “Smite Invitational”.
