Arena of Valor Tier List (February 2024)  – Best Heroes Ranked

Are you looking for the best Arena of Valor heroes? You’re in luck. Below you’ll find our updated Arena of Valor tier list. The rankings are based on how well each character performs in the current meta.

Arena of Valor (AoV) is a MOBA that features fast-paced 5v5 battles, focusing on team play. It’s similar to Mobile Legends and is available on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.

The game has been out for about six years now, so there’s a lot of content to go through!

The huge number of characters in the game makes it hard to choose the best heroes for your team, so we’ve compiled a tier list that will help you make the right decision.

So we’ve put together this Arena of Valor tier list to help you get started with your character choice.

Each hero in the game has 6 different roles: marksman, mage, warrior, assassin, tank, and support. We’ve broken down our list into tiers based on each character’s effectiveness in each role.

Let’s quickly take a look at what the tier rankings actually mean for a character so that you can better understand our Arena of Valor tier list below.

Arena of Valor Tier List Ranking Meaning

Ranking Explanation

  • Tier S Arena of Valor Heroes (BEST) — These are the best heroes in the current meta for Arena of Valor. They are so strong and versatile that even if you’re an inexperienced player, you can still win games with them. If you play one of these heroes, a professional player will have a huge advantage over his/her opponents.
  • Tier A Arena of Valor Heroes (Great) — These are also good AoV heroes that you can play with. They aren’t as powerful as the S-tier heroes, but you can still win games with them, as they are awesome in their respective lanes.
  • Tier B Arena of Valor Heroes (Decent) — Even though they may not be as popular or flashy as the heroes in higher ranks, they can still be very useful in certain situations and team compositions.
  • Tier C Arena of Valor Heroes (Average) — These characters are average at best. You may have to do more than just play your character well to win games. Teamwork and strategy are crucial.
  • Tier D Arena of Valor Heroes (Weak) — These are characters that are not highly regarded and should be avoided when you want to focus on ranking up. They may have some niche uses but aren’t worth building around. They require a lot of team support to make them viable.
  • Tier F Arena of Valor Heroes (Worst) — In our opinion, these are the worst characters in the game right now in this current AoV meta. It’s best to avoid playing with these unless you really know what you’re doing or you like playing with them so much that you don’t care if you lose a game here and there.

With the explanations out of the way, let’s take a look at our Arena of Valor tier list and see which are the best AoV heroes in this meta.

B-Tier Heroes – AoV Tier List

Tier B heroes are a little less powerful than those in higher tiers. You will have to work harder to win games with these characters, especially since teamwork and strategy are important in Arena of Valor.

However, if you can find the right team composition and play well, you will be able to get wins with these AoV heroes. Tier B is still a viable place for a character to be in Arena of Valor, so don’t give up hope just because your favorite hero is ranked low here.

C-Tier Heroes – AoV Tier List

Some of these Arena of Valor heroes are considered to be among the weakest.

They tend to lack effectiveness in comparison with other heroes and should generally not be built around when attempting to rank up (unless for a niche use).

These heroes require extensive team coordination, making them ineffective or unduly difficult by themselves.

They are usually picked for their ability to counter other heroes. These heroes are rarely seen in high-skill games and require a lot of practice to be effective.

D-Tier Heroes – AoV Tier List

These heroes are considered to be the worst heroes in Arena of Valor. Their win rates aren’t very good, and they don’t have a lot of great skills. It’s best to avoid playing with these heroes unless you know what you’re doing or you really like playing with them despite their flaws.

If these heroes are your favorites and you want to play with them anyway, then try to focus on a build with items that will help make up for their weaknesses.

The key is to choose wisely and not waste too much time trying to play with a hero who simply isn’t good enough yet.

How We Created This Tier List?

Our tier lists are based on player feedback and the current metagame. We strive to make our tier lists as helpful as possible for all players interested in knowing more about the game, regardless of their experience level.

To make sure we weren’t limiting our view only to our own experiences, we asked other Arena of Valor players on the official Discord server and also Reddit for feedback and ideas.

We also looked at data from the top players in Arena of Valor and how they build their heroes. We took all of these pieces into consideration and came up with our list of the most powerful heroes in Arena of Valor.

Please note that these tier lists are not set in stone and may change as the meta shifts. For example, if a new Arena of Valor hero becomes popular or a common strategy is discovered, we may update our list to reflect this.

We understand that our tier lists are not perfect and we welcome all feedback. If you feel like there is something missing or something wrong with the way we have ranked a hero on this Arena of Valor tier list, please let us know in the comments below.

Arena of Valor is a MOBA game developed and published by Tencent Games. It is available on Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch devices.

In Arena of Valor, two teams of five players try to destroy the enemy’s base while defending their own.

Each player controls one character from a roster of over 100+ characters. Players can choose from multiple roles based on the hero they play.

Arena of Valor Gameplay

Arena of Valor can be a very fun, quick MOBA to play. It’s a good game for casual players and hardcore gamers alike.

However, like many MOBA games, you’ll be forced to grind a lot if you want to get really good at the game.

It doesn’t matter if it is one of the most successful mobile MOBAs ever made. In order to succeed in it, you will have to grind tons of gold and pick a good hero based on an Arena of Valor tier list like the one from above.

I think the best way to summarize this game is to say that it’s simply a really fun MOBA made for mobile devices.

It may not be as polished as some of its PC-based counterparts, but it does a good job of bringing the excitement of MOBAs to the mobile gaming world.

So if you’re a fan of the genre and want something different on your phone or tablet, Arena of Valor is well worth checking out.
