If you’re new to the game, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out which characters are good and which ones aren’t, so hopefully this guide will help you get a better understanding of how the meta works.
It is important to recognize the diversity of gameplay experiences the game has to offer, and the usefulness of different Epic 7 team and character builds depending on the situation.
An Epic Seven build with strong endgame potential and lower emphasis on mid-game progression may be inappropriate for a player who has never finished the game before, for example.
That said, there is no one build that is without weaknesses. Some Epic 7 builds are lackluster in earlier areas but excel past a certain point. There are few poor choices in this game, simply different choices that favor certain goals of the player.
Epic Seven is a mobile game that has been out for years now. It’s been updated several times and the developers seem to be more active than ever before.

This is a tricky question because there is no hero that ultimately outperforms everyone else with a vast difference in DPS, defense, ultimate skills, or support abilities. However, we believe that you will do good by selecting any of the S-tier characters from our Epic Seven tier list above.
There are many good DPS heroes in Epic Seven, however, if we have to choose just a couple of them, they would have to be: Arbiter Vildred, Straze, Celine, Seaside Bellona, and Landy.
Our Epic 7 tier list was created by following the same methods we use to create all of our tier lists. We first play the game ourselves in order to learn more about the characters and how they perform.
But we also get some suggestions, ideas, and feedback from other players including those that top the Epic 7 leaderboards, and from places like the official Discord server and Reddit page.
Keep in mind though that as the game gets new updates the character rankings on our Epic 7 tier list will also change.
