The S tier contains some of the greatest characters in the game (after the Z-tier ones). These heroes on our Dragon Ball Legends tier list have a high damage output, a wide variety of attacks, and great survivability. What is Dragon Ball Legends?
Dragon Ball Legends is a new mobile fighting game (available on both Android and iOS) based on the popular anime series Dragon Ball. It features fast-paced combat and a huge roster of characters from across the franchise.
With so many characters to choose from, how do you know which ones are good? That’s where we come in!
We’ve broken down each character into five tiers: Z, S, A, B, and C. Each tier has its own strengths and weaknesses—some are great at dealing damage but struggle against certain types of enemies; others may have trouble getting off their attacks but are resistant to enemy attacks.
DB Legends – FAQ
But… if we absolutely had to choose, we’d say that the best character in DB Legends is Super Saiyan God SS Kaioken Goku.
Goku is a Saiyan who is capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan, as well as many other forms. He is incredibly powerful, and his ki energy can be used to perform techniques such as Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb.
Although he has been trained by his mentor Master Roshi, Goku is still quite young, so he has plenty of room to grow even stronger.
To create this DB Legends tier list we first played the game ourselves in order to get a feeling about the current trends and meta and see what characters the top players are using in their teams.
After that, we have taken suggestions and feedback, and info from online Dragon Ball Legends communities such as the Reddit page and Discord server.
We analyzed everything and came up with the rankings that you see above. However, keep in mind that things change and so don’t take this list as being 100% accurate.
SP (Sparking) and UL (Ultra) are the best and rarest cards that you can get in DBL. It’s then no doubt why you’ll see only DB Legends characters with these rarities topping our DBL tier list.
As a gacha game, yes, it can be viewed as a pay-to-win game where free players don’t have enough chances or opportunities to get the best and the rarest cards in the game.
This means that usually, the free-to-play users will have to spend a significantly higher amount of time in-game, grinding and hoping for good drops from their gacha pulls versus the P2P players who just simply buy crystals and spend them on summons until they get the DBL fighter that they desire.
