TennoCon 2022, the free fan event for Warframe’s players, is officially returning this summer, in digital-only format on the 16th of July.
Hosted by the developers from Digital Extremes, the event will include some exciting news and updates about the game along with a community art show.
TennoCon is a fan convention hosted by Digital Extremes in honor of the Warframe community. It is one of the biggest Warframe celebrations of the year.
It gives players a chance to meet and connect with the Warframe development team and enjoy various activities, announcements, and Q&As.
Originally the event was a live in-person meeting, held in London, Ontario, Canada. But this year, for the third year in a row, the event will be streamed online for everyone to enjoy due to the coronavirus pandemic.
For the moment, Digital Extremes didn’t give away too many details about the event this year, other than the date, the community art show (decorate and submit your Dojo before June 16th to win prizes), and some exciting news that they are going to share with us.
Mark your calendars for July 16, Tenno!

Hopefully, they will be sharing more details about TennoCon 2022 very soon, but for now, we just hope that it will be yet another successful event and that the secrecy surrounding it was all worth it.
What is Warframe?
Warframe is one of the most popular free-to-play games on PC, and for good reason. It’s a third-person space ninja game that lets you play as one of a multitude of superpowered ninjas in futuristic armor.
Warframe’s story picks up after humanity has been enslaved by an alien race called the Grineer, who have managed to conquer Earth due to their technological superiority over humans.
In order to fight back against this oppression, players must don a Warframe suit – a powerful exoskeleton capable of enhancing their physical abilities – and join together as Tenno Warriors (or Tenno for short).
The Tenno are able to channel their inner power into special abilities known as “Techniques”, which can be used in battle to deal damage or support allies.
Warframe is one of the most ambitious free-to-play games out there, and its developers are constantly exploring new ways to push the experience forward.
We’ve seen this with The New War, which brought us a new story campaign, and Angels of the Zariman, which brought us a whole new environment (and a new way to play).
