Even though Fate Grand Order has been released for a while and the game has had millions of downloads, there are still new players and constant updates with new characters being added to the game.
That is great and all, but it also makes it harder for players to know which are the best FGO servants to focus on and which are the worst ones to avoid.
That is why we have created this Fate Grand Order tier list so that we can give you some clues on what FGO servants to use in your team comp. and which ones to use as cannon fodder.
FGO Tier List Ranking Meaning:
- Tier S FGO Servants – These are the most OP servants in the game, focus on getting and upgrading these first.
- Tier A FGO Servants – Excellent FGO heroes, safe to play in any game content and to upgrade.
- Tier B FGO Servants – Average Fate Grand Order servants, they are not that awesome but can still win you battles.
- Tier C FGO Servants – Not that great, but also not the worst.
- Tier D FGO Servants – Avoid these unless you don’t have a choice.
- Tier F FGO Servants – Use these as cannon fodder to upgrade better Fate Grand Order heroes.

How We Created This FGO Tier List?
We’re in the gaming tier list business if you didn’t notice from our name 🙂 By that, we mean of course that MetaTierList is a gaming site that focuses mostly on creating tier lists for games. So when we do create and publish one of our lists, we like to do a ton of research before we share it with the world.
So with this FGO tier list, we have done our own tests in-game with various servants and team compositions, but also have gone to a few more places to gather more info, such as the official Discord server, the FGO Facebook page, and the community subreddit.
We’ve talked with players from the community and inspected their stuff in-game, so hopefully, this FGO tier list is pretty accurate.
Keep in mind though that this is just our opinion based on a couple of things such as servant class, star rating, and stats. Since gameplay varies from player to player, some might think that this is a good FGO tier list while others might think that it’s not that great.

What is Fate Grand Order?
Fate Grand Order is an RPG that was developed by Lasengle and published by Aniplex it was first released in Japan on July 29th, 2015.
The game has been translated into English and was later released worldwide on June 25th, 2016. FGO is available to be downloaded both on the iOS and Android platforms.
FGO Gameplay Features
The gameplay consists of turn-based combat with card battle elements as well as some RPG elements such as leveling up characters and collecting cards to use in combat.
Some good gameplay features of the FGO game are as follows:
- Players can summon various characters from the Fate series and other related series.
- Players can form teams of up to five members and fight against enemies in order to complete quests.
- The game has a story mode, free battles, and events that players can participate in.

This has to be the worst FGO tier list I’ve ever seen. I would advise anybody who finds their way here to disregard this list entirely.
