Understanding Our GBF Tier List

• Tier S GBF (BEST characters) – These are the most powerful characters in GBF. They’re worth upgrading as soon as possible, but their high cost and rarity might make them difficult to obtain early on if you’re not lucky with your gacha pulls. Still, they will clear every content with ease and are good in pretty much every team.
• Tier A GBF (Strong characters) –These Granblue Fantasy characters are not quite as powerful as the S-tier ones, but they are also very good at their roles and will do just fine even if you don’t fully invest in them.
• Tier B GBF (Decent characters) – If you are unable to get higher-ranked Granblue Fantasy characters, these units will still be useful in pretty much all stages and battles. They will require additional support though to make them shine.
• Tier C GBF (Average characters) – These units are fairly standard in terms of their abilities, but you can still beat some levels if you play well. Just don’t expect to get through everything perfectly without encountering any problems!
• Tier D GBF (Weak characters) – These Granblue Fantasy characters are fairly weak and tend to underperform in higher levels of play. Beginners may enjoy using them, but it’s tough to get far into the story with these ones.

With so many playable characters in Granblue Fantasy, it can be difficult for beginners to know which ones are most effective. Our GBF tier list helps give you insight into character strength and guides you toward the best heroes to bring along on quests.

What is GBF?

Granblue Fantasy is a mobile game from Cygames, the developers of Dragalia Lost and Princess Connect Re: Dive. In it, you play as an adventurer who travels around the world of Granblue, fighting monsters and other players in turn-based battles.
