Blue Archive Tier List Ranking Meaning:

S Tier – These are the best characters in Blue Archive. They are very good in every battle and game mode and can lead your team to victory when you need it the most. Highly OP (overpowered) and should be prioritized above all else heroes with levels and updates.

A Tier – The A tier also includes some pretty powerful Blue Archive characters, but not as overpowered as the S-tier ones. You can use them in all game types, but of course, they’ll be a little weaker than the super strong ones in the rankings above, so if you go up against one of those top-level fighters… you might not always win.

B Tier – The B-tier Blue Archive characters have average combat abilities, but these heroes are all pretty strong if you don’t have any others.

C Tier – Some of these Blue Archive characters are useful when you’re starting out. They are easily available to all players, and some are the only ones available when you first start playing, so they’ll be your bread-and-butter fighters for a while.

D Tier – Our Blue Archive tier list ranks characters based on how useful they are in competitive play. While these characters have their uses, they are not as powerful or as consistent as other characters in the higher tiers and that’s why we ranked them last.

How Did We Create This Blue Archive Tier List?

We did our best to create a comprehensive tier list that reflects the Blue Archive meta. We looked at what are the most successful strategies in the game and how players use them, we also read comments on Facebook, Reddit, and the official Discord server for the global version of the game, but we also played the game ourselves to gather enough data.

Keep in mind though that this is an overall Blue Archive tier list, and it’s not focused only on PvE or PvP or on specific game content. This means that we have ranked the characters after their abilities to perform great in all instances of the game.

Though we have our own opinions about which Blue Archive characters are best, we’re always open to learning more about other people’s playstyles. If you have any insights or tips about some of our choices, please let us know by leaving a comment down below.

What is Blue Archive?

Blue Archive is a gacha RPG game developed and published by Nexon. The global version of the game available on both iOS and Android was released on November 8, 2021.

The game offers players the chance to collect rare items and over 50 powerful characters as of the latest game meta. With so many heroes to choose from it’s no wonder that players don’t know which ones are the best to focus on, so that’s why we’ve created this Blue Archive tier list.

Blue Archive features a variety of RPG elements, including character updates, engaging and fast action battles, over 50+ heroes to collect, and many adventures with a variety of progression systems for players to enjoy.

Blue Archive Gameplay

Blue Archive has two main modes: single-player stories and multiplayer battles like raids and bosses.

In the stories mode, you can complete various quests while earning rewards like gold coins and experience points (EXP).

In the battle mode, you can challenge other players using your own teams of characters in PvP duels in the Arena.

Blue Archive Reviews

The game has above-average review ratings both on iOS and Android. At the time of writing this article, it has a 3.9 out of 5 stars rating on Google Play and 3.6 out of 5 stars on the App Store.

While Blue Archive is a fun experience, this is after all a gacha game published by Nexon and so, there are some P2W (pay-to-win) elements involved, where players who spend tons of money in-game (also known as whales) are dominating the charts, especially in Arena PvP, and free to play users find themselves slower to progress.

Still, the game is free, so you might want to give it a try anyway, who knows things might improve in the future.
