Stardew Valley, the popular farm life RPG simulator released in 2016, has now sold more than 20 million copies across all platforms. The game’s official website revealed that by March 2022, 13 million copies had been sold on PC alone.
The game has sold over 1 million copies in the two months following its release in 2016. Since then, Stardew Valley has been ported to additional platforms such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.
This is an incredible achievement for an indie game, especially one made by one person.
In fact, it’s almost unheard of for such a small team to create something like this and then have it sell millions of copies around the world within just a few years of release (especially when you consider how long it took The Sims 4 to reach 10 million).
The creator of Stardew Valley, ConcernedApe, is now working on a new game: Haunted Chocolatier. The upcoming game is said to have a slightly grittier tone than Stardew Valley.

Players can participate in activities such as mining, fishing, collecting wild items, or exploring caves that contain monsters.
They can also engage in social interactions with non-player characters (NPCs), including romancing them through events called “heart events.”
The game also features an extensive crafting system that allows players to create useful items like weapons or cheese from raw materials found throughout the world.
