The first look of the game is really good. The graphics and designs are impressive, the battles are fast and smooth and the best thing of all: we can fly around and take out our enemies with formidable fire power! Transformers sends its best.

If you got a Steam key between August 2nd and August 8th 2024, either through Twitch Drops or the website, you can play the closed beta on Steam until August 13th. You can find the current Mecha Break roadmap down below.

Mecha Break Tier List

S-Tier mechs? Absolute beasts. These bad boys are your go-to for any map, mode, or fight in Mecha Break.

A-Tier mechs are still super solid, can handle pretty much anything you throw at them, but they might not be as effective as the S-Tier striker.

B-Tier mechs have their moments—they shine in specific situations, but they’re not as flexible as the top dogs.

C-Tier mechs are currently underperforming and need some support before they can compete with the top-performing mechs.

Mecha Break Character Creation & Customization

What Mecha Break also does really well is the character creation. You can choose a pilot at the beginning of the game and then customize the character in many numerous ways.

Give them nice eye colors, stylish hairstyles, and facial features that match your vision. The details are impressive for a shooter game. It’s similar to character creation in MMORPGs, where it can take time to complete a character.

This is a great addition to the game and it’s a bit unexpected because the game focuses on fighting colossal war machines in great battles, not on spectacular character customization…or does it?

We like it! Have you already created your pilot in the playtest? We’ve seen lots of great designs from players and the Mecha Break community on YouTube and Reddit. There are some amazing pilots here!

But that’s not all! Mecha Break includes even more customization options, so you can decide exactly what your chosen mech looks like. Like our pilot you can change the mech appearance, so get creative!

You’ve got lots of options when it comes to colors, hues, saturation, lightness, and even metallic effects. You can also change the size of the head, arms, body, legs, and rotate them. The possibilities are endless, and you can design down to the smallest detail.

What are your thoughts on this feature in the game? Do you prefer to take down your enemies or do you enjoy customizing your chosen character? We’d love to hear your feedback in the comment section below!

Final Words

We’re definitely stunned by the numb er of details the game offers us so early in the playtest. You can customize so many parts of the character and the mech, which makes it really fun to create unique styles. Additionally, Mecha Break stands out with clean and thrilling shooter gameplay without lags.

Mecha Break was also announced for Xbox Series on Xbox Showcase 2024. If we can play the game on Playstation or even mobile we’ll have to wait and see.

Use this tier list to decide which mechs to grind for. Pick the ones that fit with your playstyle so you’re not just winning, but also having fun!
